Reported Cases

Ka Huli Ao's goal is to facilitate complete online access to all primary legal materials from the Kingdom Era, in both ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi and English. Many of these materials have already been digitized by various entities but are not easily compiled for easy online access. Please find below a listing of all Hawaiʻi reported cases (pre-1900).

*Note: Reported cases are judicial decisions rendered by courts of record, and are later compiled in books (often referred to as case law reporters).
